A 3/4 view is shown here using two different methods or canons
. Firstly by estimating where the horizontal oval would be when foreshortened. (10 divisions).
The Loomis method for side views involves turning the smaller circle on the side into a smaller and smaller elipse as the head turns more and more towards the front, and using all of the same landmarks as a frontal view
