Rocks and Waterfall Landscape

Water, in its many forms, has always been a popular theme for artists. Waterfalls convey a relaxing energising sense of positivity.

Unless you have tackled rocks before, I highly recommend taking the module on first Drawing and Painting Rocks first.

There are many different kinds of rocks and if you can learn to see them as variations on a geometrical shape such as a cube, prism or sphere, you can break down a complex task into more simple building blocks and then refine each one.

This project includes no photographic reference, you can either hunt for your own reference and use the step-by-step technique lessons with images and video to help you create a unique composition, or you can use this one as your compositional reference.
